A patent application was made in early 2003, and patents are pending in the USA, Europe, China, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and a number of other countries around the world.

The use of patent protection is seen as an integral part of the future development of the HySSIL™ brand and market position.

Trademarks have been applied for in the same countries as the Patents, the HySSIL™ name is being registered in these countries.
